An established project delivery organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of major marine, civil and infrastructure projects.
Valued between $40M - $100M across Australia.
This role will oversee complex project scopes including offshore pipeline construction, dredging operations, marine infrastructure upgrades, coastal protection works and associated civil construction activities. Operating in challenging and remote environments, the Project Manager will be responsible for driving project performance across safety, quality, cost, schedule and stakeholder outcomes.
Your new role
The Project Manager will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring all works are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with contractual, commercial and operational objectives.
Project responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning, mobilisation, execution and close-out of construction projects
- Managing multidisciplinary project teams across marine, civil and infrastructure work packages
- Delivering projects involving offshore and coastal construction activities, dredging programs and infrastructure upgrades
- Coordinating contractors, consultants, suppliers and client representatives to achieve project milestones
- Managing project schedules, procurement strategies, resource planning and logistics in remote operating environments
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements throughout all phases of delivery
- Monitoring project performance, forecasting outcomes and implementing corrective actions where required
- Managing contractual obligations, scope changes, variations and commercial
This role has the option of being based out of the Brisbane OR Sunshine Coast Offices.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience managing civil, marine, resources or infrastructure projects in Australia
- Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control
- Experience administering construction contracts and managing commercial project outcomes
- A sound understanding of construction methodologies, project governance and delivery frameworks
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk, resolve issues and drive project performance
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline
