A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Contracts Administration Officer to provide procurement and contract management support within a fast-paced team environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of contracts, ensuring compliance, accuracy and effective contract administration throughout the contract lifecycle.
Your new role
Reporting to the relevant Procurement or Contract Manager, you will be responsible for supporting procurement and contract management activities, including:
Managing contract documentation and correspondence.
Preparing, issuing and receiving contract-related documents through the organisation's Contract Management System (CMS).
Processing contract variations, extensions and amendments.
Maintaining contract registers and records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Monitoring supplier compliance requirements, including insurance certificates and other contractual obligations.
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers regarding contract matters.
Supporting procurement processes and contract administration activities.
Assisting with reporting and maintaining accurate records within procurement and contract management systems.
Working within established policies, procedures and governance framework
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience in contracts administration, procurement support or contract management.
Strong understanding of procurement processes and contract administration principles.
Experience managing contract variations, extensions and compliance documentation.
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to manage high volumes of correspondence.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Experience using TechnologyOne will be highly regarded.
Government procurement or contract administration experience is preferred, although candidates from private sector procurement environments are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with backgrounds focused solely on warehousing, dispatch, inventory management or purchasing officer duties are unlikely to be suitable for this position.
