12 month contract - Defence Intelligence Environment | Canberra Your new company
An opportunity exists for two experienced Business Analysts to join a Defence Consultancy, supporting highly specialised Defence environment supporting the delivery and sustainment of mission-critical intelligence capabilities. Working within a Product Management Office (PMO), you will play a key role in analysing business requirements, identifying opportunities for process and system improvement, supporting technology roadmaps and helping shape future capability outcomes. You will work closely with product managers, technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure operational systems continue to meet evolving business and strategic needs. Your new role

Analyse and document business and ICT requirements Engage with stakeholders to identify business needs and priorities Investigate operational issues and identify opportunities for improvement Conduct business process analysis and option assessments Develop business analysis artefacts, reports and recommendations Support technology planning and roadmap activities Assist with risk identification, mitigation and change implementation Facilitate workshops and stakeholder consultation sessions Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across mission-critical systems

  What you'll need to succeed     

Business Analysis within complex ICT environments Requirements elicitation, documentation and management Business process mapping and improvement Stakeholder engagement and relationship management Producing high-quality business analysis artefacts Facilitating workshops and gathering requirements Risk assessment and issue analysis Agile and/or traditional project delivery environments Defence ICT experience highly desirable including GEOINT or Intelligence domain experience Cloud migration or cloud transformation projects exposure Experience working within secure government environments TSPV clearance
