Your new role

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on hospital plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults relating to water, sewerage, drainage, gas, and sanitary systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fixtures, taps, toilets, basins, and associated plumbing infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency call-outs.
• Inspect plant and equipment to identify potential issues and arrange corrective actions.
• Maintain hot water systems, thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), backflow prevention devices, and associated equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, health regulations, and hospital policies.
• Complete maintenance records, work orders, and compliance documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to support facility operations.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements, infection control procedures, and environmental standards.
• Participate in an on-call roster where required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant Trade qualification in Plumbing.
• Current WA Plumbing Licence.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities maintenance plumbing.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of water services, drainage systems, gas systems, and plumbing regulations.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
• Ability to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol test
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and customer service.

What you'll get in return

• Weekly pay structure
• $56.38 per hour + penalties as applicable

• This is a 3-month temporary contract, with a possible 3-month extension.
