Physiotherapist | Blue Care | Gympie Community

Employment Term: Permanent Full Time

Located in: Gympie and Surrounding Regions

Remuneration: $42.15 to $59.04 p-hr (Based on Experience) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts + 5 Weeks Annual Leave

Your part in our Blue Care team

You'll provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. Working with a number of movement conditions associated with musculoskeletal impairments, medical conditions and chronic disease, you will tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life!

You'll have the opportunity to develop new treatment programs, helping clients to manage their movement, pain, balance and manual handling. This will include:

Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups

Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and modification

Education and training on aspects of therapy for the clients and carers

Goal setting activities, as well discharge and resolution planning

Liaising with healthcare professionals, such as GPs, nurses and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored

Tertiary Qualifications and current AHPRA registration - Essential

Previous experience within an Aged Care or Community setting

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships

Effective time-management and proven clinical problem-solving skills

Current Australian Drivers Licence and a road worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance as required - Essential

Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Current CPR and First Aid

Own reliable vehicle with kilometre reimbursement where a fleet car is not available
