Job description:
Assess, plan and carry out treatment programs for individual patients following referral from a Medical Practitioner or other Health Professional. Record details of assessments, treatments, discharge summaries and other relevant documentation to the required standard in the Agency's clinical record. Educate patients, carers and other members of the health care team in contemporary physiotherapy interventions.
The Role

Record details of assessments, treatments, discharge summaries and other relevant documentation to the required standard in the Agency's clinical record.
Educate patients, carers and other members of the health care team in contemporary physiotherapy interventions.
You will need
Sound knowledge of current physiotherapy practices including assessments and intervention techniques, together with the use of appropriate literature, resources and equipment relevant to the caseload.
Demonstrated commitment to the provision of a high standard of patient care, and the ability to participate fully in the handling of patients.
Well-developed communication skills, including the capacity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Details of appointment
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for 12 months.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$81,614 to $117,074 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2025.
Salary Packaging
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances
Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,529 is subject to qualifications and-or application to the personal upgrade scheme
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Eligibility
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
Tertiary qualification-program of study approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
