Your new role

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Parts Interpreter / Store person to join our growing team. This role is primarily focused on store operations, while also assisting with parts identification, ordering, and stock control activities that support our manufacturing and service departments. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient supply, storage, and distribution of parts and components required for our workshop operations and customers.

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.
• Pick and issue parts and materials for workshop jobs.
• Support the Parts Department with ordering, sourcing, and interpreting parts requirements when required.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and backorders.
• Pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain stock locations and warehouse organisation.
• Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience within the heavy vehicle, transport, manufacturing, automotive, or engineering sectors is highly regarded.
• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Store person, or similar role
• Strong computer skills and experience with inventory or ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
