Job description
A park and gardens worker is needed at a council.
A council is looking for a motivated and reliable parks and gardens worker to join the park’s maintenance team. This hands-on outdoor role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in open spaces and take pride in maintaining parks, gardens, and public areas to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mowing, whipper snipping and edging of parks and open spaces
- General garden maintenance including planting, mulching and weeding
- Pruning trees, shrubs and garden beds
- Litter collection and maintenance of public amenities
- Adhering to all Work Health & Safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience in gardening, landscaping.
- A valid driving licence and white card is mandatory.
- Experience operating small plant and equipment.
