We are a small family owned and operated indoor mushroom farm based in Hoppers Crossing (3029). We grow gourmet mushrooms — oysters, lion's mane, chestnuts and more — and we've recently expanded our facilities and are ramping up production. We're looking for a Mushroom Packer to join our team on a casual basis (~40-45 hours per week). The role involves harvesting mushrooms, checking the weight, packing them on trays, punnets and boxes and splitting them into individual orders. The best person for this role is someone who can work in a fast paced environment and pay attention to detail at the same time. No prior experience with mushrooms is needed — we'll train you. But reliability and a strong work ethic are a must. We'd love to find someone local who's looking for a long-term role with a growing small business. Pay is in line with the Horticulture Award (casual rates).
