Mechanical Technician role based in Balcatta for 6 months +, paying up to $46ph +super/penalties Your new company
My client, a player within mining technology, requires experienced Mechanical Technicians for a 6-month + role based in Balcatta. Your new role
As a Mechanical technician, your duties will include:

Manufacturing and assembly of electronic parts and products, which includes:

Designing utilising jigs to make assembly easier Using basic hand tools - screwdriver, circlip, pliers, cutters

Inspection and cleaning of mechanical parts and products, which involves:

Inspecting visually - examining for damage, especially to threads Cleaning using hand tools such as wire brushers, linisher, bench grinder and drills

Performing service and repairs to damaged mechanical parts or products:

Stripping and dissembling products using hand tools such as tongs, spanner, hammer, screwdriver, allen key. Determining if a part is no longer commissionable, omitting it to scrap. Reassembling parts

Calibration of equipment and products involves:

Referring to a list of product specifications to set calibration settings (such as torque) Carrying out calibration and recording details in the service history sheet,
