With significant investment in asset upgrades and infrastructure improvements, they offer the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects within a supportive and high-performing team.

Your new role

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of mechanical capital projects from concept through to commissioning and handover. • Overseeing contractor performance and ensuring contractual obligations are met
  • Leading project execution, construction activities, commissioning, and handover
  • Ensuring project documentation is maintained and complies with governance requirements
  • Collaborating with maintenance, operations, engineering, and site leadership teams
  • Monitoring project performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience managing mechanical projects within mining, resources, heavy industry, manufacturing, or infrastructure environments
  • Proven experience managing consultants through early study and detailed design phases
  • Experience delivering projects through execution, construction, and commissioning
  • Strong understanding of project governance, project controls, and delivery documentation
  • Sound knowledge of contract administration and contractor management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple project priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications or a Mechanical Trade background will be highly regarded.
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety and operational standards

What you'll get in return

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading mining operation and play a key role in the delivery of critical mechanical infrastructure and asset improvement projects. You'll enjoy a Monday-to-Thursday site-based roster with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays, camp accommodation provided, and the choice of FIFO or DIDO arrangements.
