Job description

Mechanical Fitter Great opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, or Mechanic based in Wingfield. Earn $50.50 per hour + $2 site allowance, with daily overtime paid after 8 hours on 10-12 hour day shifts. Work across a mix of workshop repairs and field site service. Enjoy a 6:00 AM start in a casual role with a genuine pathway to transition into a permanent full time position (pending performance).

Duties

Perform mechanical fault finding, troubleshooting and maintenance on fixed and mobile plant equipment.

Execute structural boilermaking, fabrication, and repair work across plant machinery.

Travel to client sites using a company service vehicle from the Wingfield depot.

Conduct regular servicing and preventive maintenance tasks in the workshop and on site.

Maintain clean, safe work environments in compliance with safety standards.

Skills & experience

Relevant Trade Qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, or Heavy Mechanic).

Valid White Card, Working at Heights, and Confined Space Entry certifications.

Ability to successfully pass a pre employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Full Australian work rights (candidates on valid VISAs are welcome to apply).

Demonstrated experience in plant equipment maintenance and fault finding.
