Full-time, Permanent | $101,270 per year + Super + Tool Allowance

Mariner Engineering is seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join our team in Spotswood, Victoria.

About the Role

You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and rebuilding outboard motors, small petrol and diesel engines, and associated marine equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Service, repair and rebuild two-stroke and four-stroke engines
• Inspect and replace worn or damaged components
• Perform routine maintenance, testing and inspections
• Maintain accurate service records and job cards
• Follow workplace safety procedures

Requirements

• Certificate III in a relevant mechanical trade, or at least 3 years of relevant full-time experience
• Experience working with outboard motors or small engines
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Current driver's licence

What We Offer

• $101,270 annual salary plus superannuation
• Additional weekly tool allowance
• Permanent full-time employment
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary Details: $47.50 per hour for 38 ordinary hours, plus 2 hours of guaranteed overtime per week at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
