The Role

We are seeking a trade qualified fitter with manufacturing experience to take responsibility for maintaining machine reliability, equipment condition and operational discipline across manufacturing operations at CYB.

The role applies structured machine care, fault finding and precision adjustment to reduce unplanned downtime and improve process stability.

The Technician operates as a front-line technical resource within operations, supporting Production Team Leaders and strengthening technical capability across teams.

The role combines equipment operation with technical ownership to reduce reactive maintenance through effective fault resolution and escalation of complex issues, while maintaining high standards of equipment condition, 6S and operational discipline to ensure consistent, stable and efficient production performance.

Requirements
• Mechanical trade qualification
• Demonstrated technical capability in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of machine operation, fault finding and preventative maintenance
• Good communication and teamwork
