• Carry out preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance tasks
• Inspect buildings, public areas and equipment to identify issues
• Operate and maintain tools, machinery and equipment
• Coordinate and oversee external contractors
• Mowing, edging and maintaining lawns and landscaped areas
• Pruning, trimming, and maintaining trees, shrubs, hedges, and garden beds.
• Follow WHS procedures and ensure safe work practices
• Manage work orders and complete tasks within strict timeframes
• Have sound communication skills and experience working with internal and external stakeholders
• Complete general repairs including basic plumbing, painting, tiling, carpentry, lighting and minor installations
• Operating and maintaining grounds keeping equipment such as mowers, whipper snippers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws.

What you'll need to succeed

• Current Driver’s Licence
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Physically fit, reliable and proactive
• Strong hands‑on general maintenance skills
• Experience coordinating contractors
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Moderate computer literacy for logging maintenance tasks
• Good understanding of WHS, compliance and relevant codes
• Minimum one year experience in a Maintenance Officer or Facilities role
• Trade qualification (highly desirable)
