Hands on maintenance and installation role based in Mount Isa. Your new role We are seeking a hands on and community focused Home Modifications & Maintenance Technician to join our team. We're seeking a practical and community minded Maintenance Technician to carry out a range of home modifications, installations and repairs across North West Queensland. This role is ideal for someone from a trade, maintenance, fabrication, handyman or workshop background who enjoys variety and takes pride in quality workmanship. You will travel to client sites across the North West region completing home modifications and maintenance works, including:

Installing grab rails, ramps, handrails and access solutions Installing interconnected smoke alarm systems General home maintenance and repair work Replacing taps, washers and door locks Realigning doors and completing minor carpentry tasks Reading drawings and plans Liaising professionally with clients and stakeholders Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

     What you'll need to succeed    

Trade qualification or strong maintenance background Current QLD Driver's Licence Current Blue Card Current Federal Police Check Ability to read and interpret drawings Strong communication skills Comfortable travelling throughout the North West region Welding experience highly regarded Workshop or fabrication experience highly desirable
