Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an KYC Officer to join the Account Management Team (AMT) on an initial 12-month contract.
This team is responsible for maintaining client accounts and ensuring Know Your Client (KYC) obligations are met throughout the client life cycle. You will play a key role in supporting account maintenance activities, KYC periodic reviews, remediation projects and client due diligence processes while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support KYC reviews, account maintenance activities and client life cycle management processes.
- Review client documentation and follow up on outstanding or inconsistent information.
- Conduct account maintenance activities across a range of client offerings and account types.
- Support remediation and process improvement initiatives.
- Respond to stakeholder queries and provide troubleshooting support.
- Ensure regulatory requirements and internal controls are adhered to at all times.
- Collaborate with teams across Australia and Asia to deliver positive client outcomes.
- Assist with ongoing data quality, governance and operational improvement activities.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in financial services, banking, wealth management or a related environment.
- Exposure to KYC, client onboarding, account maintenance, client life cycle management or compliance processes.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
