KITCHEN HAND Position: Kitchen Hand Location: PARKROYAL Monash Position Type: Part-Time Pay Rate: Award Rates + Superannuation About Us We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Kitchen Hand to join our back-of-house team and keep operations running seamlessly. Key Responsibilities Operating the commercial dishwasher and ensuring kitchen equipment, pots, and utensils are thoroughly washed and sanitized. Maintaining clean and tidy food preparation areas, wash stations, and waste disposal areas in accordance with food safety standards. Assisting chefs with basic prep work (peeling, chopping, portioning) as required. Unloading deliveries, organizing cool rooms, and managing stock rotation (FIFO). Assisting with deep cleaning tasks and routine kitchen maintenance. What We Are Looking For Previous kitchen hand or dishwashing experience in a commercial kitchen preferred, but motivated candidates eager to learn are encouraged to apply. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods. Good communication skills and a team-first attitude. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended shifts and lift heavy items. Full working rights in Australia and flexible availability across nights, weekends, and public holidays.
