Junior Operator for Heap Leaching Plant Your new company Your new company is an innovative provider of mining solutions, specialising in heap leach technology for the extraction of metals such as copper and gold from low-grade ores. Your new role We are currently seeking Junior Operators to join site on an 8/6 roster, working 12-hour shifts on a DIDO basis from Mt Isa. In this role, you will:

Perform operational tasks including basic equipment operation, set-up, manual handling, and general site support Assist with maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment, reporting any defects promptly Follow all safety procedures, participate in pre-starts, JHAs/JSA's, and toolbox talks Support workflow progression by working effectively within a team and maintaining high housekeeping standards Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying practical safety, quality, or efficiency improvements Participate in training, development, and competency progression Report hazards, near misses, and incidents accurately and promptly

What you'll need to succeed    

Experience in drilling, construction, mining, or workshop environments Minimum 1 year experience as a production hand or similar operational role Current manual driver's licence Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening Tickets such as HR, Dogging, or Slewing Mobile Crane (at least 1 essential) Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
