Experienced GPS Excavator Operators required for a Haul Road Project on a Mine Site in Far North Queensland Your new company Join a leading operation delivering a large-scale haul road construction project in Far North Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-supported team working within a major mining environment on a high-impact infrastructure build. Your new role We are seeking experienced GPS Excavator Operators to contribute to a 10km haul road construction project. Working within a safety-focused and production-driven team, you will be responsible for operating GPS-equipped excavators to complete bulk earthworks, batter construction, drainage, and final trim activities to specification. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining productivity and safety standards across the project. Roster: 2 Weeks On / 1 Week Off - all flights, meals and accommodation provided Shifts: Day Shift Only, 11hr days What you'll need to succeed Proven experience operating GPS-equipped excavators in mining, civil, or large-scale earthworks environments. Demonstrated experience using machine guidance systems such as Trimble, Topcon, or Leica GPS. Previous experience on haul road, bulk earthworks, or major civil construction projects. Current and valid RII competency/tickets for excavator operations. Strong understanding of site plans, levels, and excavation requirements. Current Open Driver's Licence. Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check. A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality work. What you'll get in return Competitive rates.
