Position: ICT Customer Support Officer

Salary: $79,000 - $85,000 per annum plus 12% Superannuation

Hours: 38 hours per week

Mode: Full Time

Modex Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an ICT Customer Support Officer. This full-time South Melbourne position offers an opportunity for an experienced IT professional to provide technical support across Microsoft 365, cloud applications, software, hardware, and IT infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Provide timely and effective support to users across Microsoft 365, cloud applications, and other software platforms by diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues.

• Analyse user requirements and recommend appropriate software, hardware, and network solutions to resolve problems efficiently.

• Install, configure, and maintain software applications, including Microsoft 365 apps, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

• Support network implementation, connectivity troubleshooting, and the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.

• Adapt and optimise existing applications and system settings to meet user needs and improve workflow efficiency.

• Provide basic website support and assist with related application tasks.

• Provide Level 2/3 MSP support.

• Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, technical instructions, and system records, to support effective IT operations.

• Monitor system performance, identify recurring issues, and implement process improvements to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.

• Communicate professionally with clients, manage multiple requests in an SLA-driven environment, and ensure consistent high-quality support.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification on Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Or Diploma on Information Technology or a related field

Other Skills and Requirements:

• Proven ability to provide technical support in a Microsoft 365 or modern workplace environment.

• Minimum 1 year experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, peripheral devices, and cloud applications.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple client requests, and work effectively in a team environment.

• Experience with Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD (Entra ID) is highly desirable
