Australia Backpacker Central Pty Ltd (ABC Labour) has 10 Horticulture positions in the Mildura region in northwest Victoria commencing from September 2026 and continuing for up to 3 years.

These roles include a variety of tasks including harvesting almonds utilising farm equipment and machinery, assisting in tree maintenance, weed control and fertilisation activities, supporting irrigation activities, monitoring systems, maintaining equipment such as pumps, filters and valves and general farm maintenance and tasks supporting orchard operations.

Candidates should be motivated and able to learn quickly. The work is physical and performed outdoors; successful candidates will be required for early starts and to work in a variety of weather conditions. Candidates must be able to work within a team and autonomously, take instruction and work quickly with accuracy; on the job training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Candidates must have a genuine desire to relocate to the area.

Wages will be paid in accordance with the Horticulture Award (MA000028) at an hourly rate. Your usual hours of work will be 7am-4pm, 5-6 days per week, average minimum hours will be reflected under the Horticulture Award 2020 - Level 1 Full Time.
