Job description

2K Embroidery Pty Ltd 409 Grand Jct Rd, Wingfield SA 5013

Base Salary $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.

About Us

Established in 2014, 2K Embroidery & Merchandising is a South Australian owned and operated business specialising in custom workwear, uniforms, sportswear, schoolwear and promotional merchandise. From our Wingfield workshop and showroom, we design and decorate garments in-house using multi-head commercial embroidery, screen printing, DTF, direct-to-garment (DTG) printing and heat press application. We handle everything from single garments to runs of a thousand units.

We supply a wide range of leading Australian and international apparel, workwear and safety brands. Our clients include trade and construction businesses, hospitality venues, retailers, schools, sporting clubs, athletes, community events and government organizations across South Australia and Australia-wide.

Our business has grown steadily, with increasing order volumes, a broader client base and an expanding range of custom apparel and merchandise. The volume and complexity of client artwork now requires a dedicated design professional, and we are creating a new permanent role for an experienced Graphic Designer.

  • Select, specify and recommend the most suitable decoration method (embroidery, screen print, DTF, DTG or heat transfer), thread and ink colours, garment ranges and materials to achieve the required functional and aesthetic outcome.
  • Detail and document approved designs for production, including: o production-ready vector artwork. o color separations for screen printing. o print-ready files for DTF and DTG. o artwork for in-house embroidery digitizing; and o placement and sizing specifications for the workshop.
  • Supervise production of designs, inspect samples and first-run output, and ensure finished products match approved artwork and quality standards.
  • Design company catalogues, product range sheets, showroom signage and display materials that present our products and decoration capabilities to clients.
  • Maintain an organized archive of client logos, approved artwork and production files to support efficient repeat orders.
