Full-time permanent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced General Practitioner Income range between $80,000 to $100,000/ yr expectations to the right candidate Location: Bateau Bay NSW 2261

Work hours: Full time (38 hours a week) Responsibilities and expected skills include:
• Provide primary care as per Australian General Practice Standards
• Preventive care Screening for Cardiovascular & Cancer
• Having skills to identify acute medical issues and sick patients
• Prior comparable skills and training in Emergency medicine
• Prior comparable work experience in General Practice
• ECG interpretation
• Basic medical diagnosis of respiratory disease, diabetes, Hypertension
• Identifying red flags based on clinical history and observation findings
• Have a current ALS certificate or complete one before commencing the work Selection criteria: The General Practitioner will be required to provide evidence of:
• MBBS degree or higher qualification
• Have current AHPRA registration or Eligibility to qualify for the PESCI pathway for the AHPRA limited registration
• Demonstrate commitment to live and work locally for a long term
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to gain new skills, and knowledge, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Completion of CPD requirements as per the RACGP standard
• At least 3 years of prior work experience as a General Practitioner
• Previous experience in emergency care, high dependency care, and intensive care would be highly regarded.
