Store Manager

Air Voice Supermarkets Pty Ltd operates a busy a community-oriented IGA supermarket focused on delivering quality products, strong customer service, and a convenient shopping experience. The business places importance on supporting the local community while offering fresh, affordable groceries every day.

An opportunity is available for a driven and capable Store Manager to lead the team and support the ongoing success and growth of our IGA store.

Location: Esperance, WA 6450 Salary: $80,000 to $86,000 per annum plus superannuation Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient performance
• Track sales, margins, and expenses to meet financial targets
• Prepare sales projections and oversee budgeting
• Lead, support, and motivate staff to maintain high operational and customer service standards
• Execute promotional campaigns and merchandising in accordance with IGA guidelines
• Oversee pricing, stock management, and inventory control
• Ensure consistent availability of fresh and grocery items across all departments
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies
• Establish and enforce store procedures, including health and safety requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of one year full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience in a comparable retail management role
• A Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Management, Commerce, Marketing or Accounting or another relevant, or an additional year of relevant experience
• Demonstrated leadership, organisational, and communication abilities
• Capacity to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced supermarket setting
• Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and peak periods
