Full Time Office Manager SALARY $80,000 – $85,000 per annum (commensurate with relevant experience)
Summary Ausford College is seeking a professional and highly organised Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative operations and support the efficient delivery of student and office services.
Working closely with the College Director, trainers, and administrative team, the role will coordinate office functions, manage workflow, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including RTO standards. This is a key position that contributes to the smooth operation and continued growth of the College.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organise, and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of the College to ensure efficient office management and service delivery;
• Develop and implement administrative systems, policies, and procedures to support business operations and maintain organisational standards;
• Oversee student administration processes, including enrolments, records management, and documentation in accordance with RTO compliance requirements;
• Assign duties to administrative staff, monitor workflow, and provide supervision and support to ensure performance objectives are met;
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and filing systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory obligations;
• Liaise with the College Director, trainers, students, and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve operational matters;
• Manage office resources, facilities, and supplies to ensure a well-functioning and organised work environment;
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including RTO standards, privacy requirements, and workplace health and safety regulations;
• Assist in coordinating human resource functions, including recruitment support, onboarding, staff records, and performance monitoring.
Essential Criteria
• A degree or certification in Management, Administration, or Leadership, with some accounting/financial management knowledge;
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in an office management or administrative leadership role;
• Strong record-keeping and accounting/financial management skills;
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to supervise staff and support team performance;
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to liaise with students, trainers, and stakeholders professionally.
Desirable Criteria
• Previous experience working within a VET college or registered training organisation.
