Position Title: Full-time ICT Support Technician Salary: $79,500 + Superannuation CSM SEC Pty Ltd is a national electronic security and technology distributor, operating across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. The company has continued to expand its presence within the electronic security and technology industry, supporting customers and suppliers across Australia. CSM SEC represents a range of leading technology and security brands and provides an extensive portfolio of integrated solutions, including access control, CCTV, electronic security and related technology systems. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an ICT Support Technician to join our team in Sydney branch and provide technical support.

Tasks include:
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system related technical issues.
• Respond to technical enquiries and provide support to internal users, branches and customers.
• Install, configure, update and maintain software applications and computer systems.
• Assess user requirements and recommend appropriate hardware, software and technical solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot network-connected devices, controllers and related equipment.
• Repair, replace and configure faulty computer hardware, peripherals and technical equipment.
• Assist users with system operation and provide technical guidance and training when required.
• Support system upgrades and improvements while maintaining accurate technical documentation and service records.

Skill level required:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an ICT Support Technician or a similar technical support role.
• Completion of IT Service Desk and Careers certifications
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and software installation/configuration skills.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, wireless networking and Microsoft operating systems/Office.
• Professional attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
