AVAILABILITY The roles are full-time 38 hours per week, so it will be essential that candidates are available accordingly.

SALARY $82,500 + Superannuation

The Position JAXSON INTERACTIONS PTY LTD, trading as Trim Time Hairdressing, operates across three locations in Queensland, including Surfers Paradise, Southport and Coomera. The business specialises in providing affordable, professional haircutting services for both men and women through its fast-cut hairdressing model, focusing on quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Hairdressers will be responsible for delivering professional haircutting and styling services while maintaining high standards of hygiene, customer care and technical precision. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong hairdressing skills, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering consistent, high-quality services.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Consulting with clients to understand their haircutting preferences and providing professional advice on suitable hairstyles and hair care practices.
• Assessing clients' hair types, textures and facial features to recommend appropriate haircuts and styles.
• Cutting, trimming and shaping men's and women's hair using scissors, clippers, razors and other professional hairdressing tools.
• Performing various haircutting techniques, including layering, fading, tapering, blending, texturising and precision cutting.
• Styling and finishing hair using appropriate brushing, combing and blow-drying techniques.
• Providing advice to clients on hairstyle maintenance, hair care products and everyday grooming practices.
• Delivering efficient and high-quality haircutting services in accordance with the business's fast-cut service model.
• Perform beard shaping, hot towel shaves, and grooming services in line with premium barbershop standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene by sanitising hairdressing tools, disinfecting equipment and keeping workstations clean and organised.
• Ensuring all hairdressing tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely operated.
• Managing client appointments, assisting walk-in customers and processing customer payments.
• Maintaining professional customer service standards and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Assisting team members and supporting smooth daily salon operations during busy periods.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience The successful candidate should possess:
• Professional or Occupational Skill Certificate-Hairdresser or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years practical experience in professional hairdressing, preferably in a busy salon or fast-cut hairdressing environment.
• Proficiency in men's and women's haircutting techniques, including scissor cutting, clipper cutting, layering, blending and texturising.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.
