Nexus Division is seeking an experienced Freelance Accountant to support our growing operations across consulting, technology, labour hire, and project-based services.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and review financial reports and management accounts
• Assist with BAS, GST, payroll, and taxation requirements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
• Maintain compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations
• Liaise with management regarding financial performance and reporting requirements
• Support end-of-year financial preparation and accountant liaison activities
Skills & Experience
• Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience with Australian accounting and taxation requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Highly Regarded
• Experience working with consulting, professional services, labour hire, construction, infrastructure, or technology businesses.
