LOOKING FOR FOH SUPERVISOR Caulfield south 36/hr Part time

About the role As FOH Supervisor at The Little Hungarian Restaurant, you'll be responsible for opening and setting up the restaurant, coordinating the front of house team and making sure customers receive friendly, efficient service throughout the evening. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident on the floor, has strong hospitality experience and enjoys leading a team while still being involved in the day-to-day running of the restaurant. You'll play an important role in looking after long-established regular customers and helping maximise the restaurant's tables and overall service. Key responsibilities Open the restaurant at 4:00pm as a keyholder and complete daily opening procedures Set up the restaurant and FOH for evening trade Coordinate and supervise FOH staff throughout service Allocate tables and manage table rotations to maximise the restaurant's capacity and profitability Look after loyal and long-established regular clientele Maintain a strong and confident presence on the restaurant floor Train and support FOH staff to maintain high service standards Manage FOH staff rosters and assist with staff scheduling Handle tills, cash and floats accurately Monitor and manage drinks stock and prepare and serve drinks About you Previous restaurant or hospitality experience, ideally in a supervisory or senior FOH position Confident leading a small FOH team Strong presence and able to take charge when needed Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys looking after customers Understands the importance of building relationships with regular customers Organised and able to stay calm and focused during busy service Good attention to detail and takes pride in keeping things running properly Comfortable handling cash, tills and floats Experience with drinks service, holds RSA Reliable, responsible and comfortable being a keyholder About us The Little Hungarian Restaurant is a long-established local restaurant with a loyal regular clientele and a strong reputation for authentic Hungarian cuisine, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.
