Our client is a well-established organisation within the financial and professional services sector, recognised for delivering a high-quality workplace experience across a national office portfolio. Due to a parental leave vacancy, they are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract and working out of their key Sydney CBD office.

Your new role

As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing facilities operations across multiple offices, ensuring a safe, efficient and professional working environment for employees and clients alike.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day facilities operations across a national office portfolio
  • Overseeing building maintenance, workplace services, security and access control
  • Supporting reception and front-of-house teams to maintain exceptional service standards
  • Acting as the key contact for facilities-related matters and stakeholder enquiries
  • Building strong relationships with senior leaders and internal stakeholders
  • Managing external service providers, including cleaning, maintenance and security contractors
  • Monitoring contractor performance and service delivery against agreed standards
  • Identifying opportunities to improve workplace services and operational efficiency
  • Supporting workplace initiatives that enhance the employee experience
  • Coordinating facilities projects and workplace improvements where required
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety and operational requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous Facilities Management experience within a corporate, professional services or financial services environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers and service agreements
  • Exposure to workplace services, reception or front-of-house operations
  • Excellent organisational and project coordination skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence in working with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
  • A commitment to delivering a high-quality workplace and customer experience
