EXPERIENCED CLEANER – TEAM LEADER Strata & Commercial Cleaning Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:30pm | Above Award Pay | Company Vehicle Based in Salisbury | Work across Greater Brisbane

Blue Property Services is an award-winning strata cleaning and property maintenance company servicing Greater Brisbane. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced cleaner to join our team as a Team Leader.

This is a hands-on role working in a two-person team. You will clean alongside your teammate while taking responsibility for the daily schedule, quality of work and overall presentation of the properties you service.

For this role, three things are particularly important to us: Experience. Attention to detail. Good judgement.

We need someone who can walk into a property, see what needs attention without always being told, confidently make sensible day-to-day decisions and make sure the job is completed properly.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You should:
• Have solid commercial, strata or similar professional cleaning experience
• Have an excellent eye for detail and notice things others may walk past
• Show initiative and good practical judgement
• Be confident making day-to-day decisions and leading a teammate
• Take pride in leaving a property clean and professionally presented
• Be proactive — if something isn't right, deal with it or report it
• Maintain a good working pace without cutting corners
• Be reliable, punctual and organised
• Be able to work independently without constant supervision
• Communicate clearly and confidently with your teammate and our office
• Be comfortable using a smartphone and job-management app
• Hold a current Australian driver's licence

Previous Team Leader, Leading Hand or supervisory experience is highly regarded, but strong cleaning experience, reliability, attention to detail and good judgement are more important than having held a particular job title.

THE ROLE

You will generally work in a team of two, travelling between strata and commercial properties across Brisbane.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead and work hands-on alongside your teammate
• Manage your team's daily cleaning schedule
• Take responsibility for the quality and presentation of allocated sites
• Check completed work before leaving each property
• Identify and correct anything that has been missed
• Assist with training new cleaners when required
• Report site, access, maintenance or quality issues to the office
• Use our job-management app to check in/out and upload job photos
• Manage the company vehicle allocated to your team
• Look after equipment, products and site keys
• Follow WHS requirements and report hazards

Typical cleaning duties

Work includes cleaning strata and commercial common areas such as:
• Foyers, corridors, stairwells and lifts
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting
• Glass doors, entryways, handrails and balustrades
• Cobweb removal
• Commercial bathrooms and amenities
• Bin rooms and bin management
• General internal and external common-area cleaning

This is a hands-on cleaning position. The Team Leader works alongside their teammate throughout the day and leads by example, consistent with the structure of your original role.
