About the Role: An exciting opportunity exists at our Scone Plant located in New South Wales, 2hrs North West of Newcastle for an Engineering Manager. This is a full-time position with annual salary higher than $120,000.00 plus superannuation.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Follow safe work practices and procedures; Determining, implementing and monitoring engineering strategies, policies and plans; Interpreting plans, drawings and specifications, and providing advice on engineering methods and procedures to achieve construction and production requirements; Establishing project schedules and budgets; Ensuring conformity with specifications and plans, and with laws, regulations and safety standards; Ensuring engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timeliness and performance are observed. Overseeing maintenance requirements to optimise efficiency; Liaising with marketing, research and manufacturing managers regarding engineering; aspects of new construction and product design; Contributing to research and development projects; Responsibility for selection, training and development of personnel working for him/her;

About you: Five years of experience as Engineering Manager Level in the food processing industry Good communication skills Demonstrated interest in the trade Organisation and time management skills Ability to work in a team environment and independently Positive attitude and the ability to problem solve
