Your New Company
Our client is a leading Australian electrical manufacturer specialising in the design, assembly, and installation of switchboards and power distribution solutions for commercial, industrial, critical infrastructure, and data centre projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Switchboard Panel Builders to join their team in Sydney's Campbelltown region.
Your New Role
Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of low-voltage switchboards and electrical control panels. This opportunity is open to both licensed electricians and experienced unlicensed panel builders looking to further their careers in a specialist industry.
Your duties will include:
- Building and wiring switchboards, control panels, and distribution boards
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Installing electrical components including circuit breakers, relays, contactors, and busbars
- Carrying out testing, fault finding, and quality checks
- Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment
- Working closely with the production team to meet project deadlines
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience in switchboard manufacturing or panel building
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong wiring and assembly skills
- Electrical Licence advantageous but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
