Ecology Technician

Are you looking for hands-on outdoor work with an immediate start? We are seeking reliable Ecology Technicians to assist with a Yellow Crazy Ant management project across the Townsville region.
This role offers ongoing work, weekly pay, and the opportunity to contribute to an important environmental program protecting local ecosystems.
Your new role
Assisting with Yellow Crazy Ant monitoring and treatment activities
Clearing vegetation and cutting back shrubs to access treatment areas
General labouring and field-based duties
Working outdoors in various weather conditions
Following environmental and safety procedures
Supporting the wider project team as required
What you'll need to succeed
Previous labouring, landscaping, conservation, or outdoor work experience preferred
Ability to use hand tools for vegetation clearing
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Reliable transport and strong work ethic
