THE ROLE

With an increasing pipeline of upcoming work, we are seeking motivated Draughtspersons to join our growing drafting team based in the Perth CBD office.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the design of projects and project elements that are largely earthworks related such as tailings & water dams, channels, environmental control structures and roadworks.

Reporting to the Drafting Manager, you will work in a mix of drafting and 3D modelling duties taking projects from conceptual design, developing 3D CAD models and producing detailed design drawings ready for construction in the real world. Knowledge & experience with Autodesk products, primarily AutoCAD Civil 3D is a must.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will be customer service oriented with a high regard for quality. You should be proficient in using Autodesk design software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, along with standard Microsoft products. A keen eye for detail and any experience in 3D rendering and Graphic Design is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• A strong proficiency of 3 Dimensional design/thinking
• A ability to use LiDAR & Survey data
• Strong drafting skills
• An ability to model earthworks using grading & corridor techniques
• Experience working within a technical consulting environment (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• An ability to work consistently & unsupervised
• The ability to ask for assistance and a willingness to assist others when needed
