Canex has an opportunity for 20 x Full time Crop Farm Labourers in Caboolture and surrounding regions, Queensland.

The roles can vary and you could be tasked with:

• Manually harvest vegetables by hand or using hand tools - all training provided.
• Sort, clean, and pack produce in the field according to quality standards.
• Load harvested produce into bins or trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the field and equipment.
• Assist with planting, weeding, thinning, and other general field maintenance as needed.
• Follow all food safety and farm hygiene practices.

For this exciting role you must have a good level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet and active for the majority of your shift.

Requirements:

• Ready and able to work long shifts (10+hours a day)
• Be flexible in your approach to work
• A great attitude with your work
• Be neat in tidy
• Be able to work alone or part of a team.
• All training will be provided.

You will be required to work on average 38 hours per week.

The term of work will be from September 2026 to September 2027

You will be paid under the Horticulture Award 2020 [MA000028].

• The work will range in pay from an ordinary rate of Level 1 $25.74/hr up to Level 2 $26.44+/hr

• Working hours will vary from anywhere from 6am to 6pm, 7 days per week.

• Overtime rates will be paid where applicable

• Upskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.
