Location: 4267 South Western Highway, North Dandalup, WA 6207

Employment: Full-time, 38 hours per week

Salary: AUD $80,000–$90,000 per annum, plus superannuation

Del Park Roadhouse Pty Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Cook to join our roadhouse restaurant in North Dandalup, Western Australia.

The successful applicant will prepare and cook meals, maintain consistent food quality and support the daily operation of the kitchen.

Key responsibilities:

· Prepare ingredients and cook meals in accordance with menus and customer orders.

· Check ingredients for freshness and quality before use.

· Control cooking temperatures and operate kitchen equipment safely.

· Maintain consistent portion sizes, presentation and food quality.

· Accommodate dietary requirements and food allergies appropriately.

· Store, label and rotate food supplies and monitor stock levels.

· Maintain a clean and organised kitchen in accordance with food safety and hygiene requirements.

· Coordinate with other team members to ensure meals are prepared and served promptly.

Essential qualifications and experience

Applicants must have:

· A minimum of one year of relevant work experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.

· All three qualifications: Diploma of Hospitality Management, Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and Certificate IV in Kitchen Management.

· Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, safe food storage and hygiene.

· The ability to organise preparation tasks and work efficiently during busy service periods.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Availability to work a roster that may include weekends and public holidays.
