About the Company: Lone Star Rib House & Brews, operated by JB N RB PTY LTD, is a restaurant located at 306 Church Street, Parramatta, NSW 2150, offering a Texan-themed dining experience with a menu featuring ribs, steaks, burgers, and more.

Minimum Requirements: Certificate II or III in commercial Cookery with at least 1-2 years’ experience as a cook.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare a wide range of meals from the menu Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use Contribute to improving the menu list, kitchen facility, and business of the restaurant Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation Standards and food preparation checklist Undertake portion control practices, arrange, and garnish food according to the Store food in temperature-controlled facilities Provide input in the creation of seasonal menus and new recipes Season and cook food according to recipes or your own experience and knowledge Help with stock management including, ordering, rotation, and wastage control Ensure wastage is kept to a minimum Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

Other Key Skills and Experience: Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen Be a motivated individual who has a passion for cooking
