About the Role

Sydney Dental Hospital (SDH) has been serving the local community since 1904. The Hospital is a centre of excellence and throughout its history has been a key driver in shaping oral health and dental care in Australia.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) provides senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery for Infection Prevention and Control and Staff Health within the Oral Health Services. The CNS employs advanced clinical skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision making, working closely with the Operational Nurse Manager, other managers and senior clinicians.

Ideal Candidate

Current unencumbered registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the relevant area or such other post-registration qualifications or equivalent qualifications deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.

Current Australian Nurse Immuniser (ANI) qualifications.

Must be able to work a roster Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
