Hays are partnering with reputable civil contractors who are experiencing strong project growth across Adelaide. Due to increased workloads, we are seeking experienced Civil Labourers, Excavator Operators, Dozer Operators, and Multi-Skilled Plant Operators for long-term opportunities.These positions offer consistent hours, competitive pay rates, and the opportunity to work on a variety of civil construction projects with established contractors.

Your new role

Working on civil construction projects across Adelaide, you will play a key role in supporting site operations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Key responsibilities include:

Civil Labourers

General civil labouring duties Assisting plant operators and site crews Trenching and ground preparation Spotting plant and equipment Installation of civil infrastructure Site clean-up and manual handling duties Working safely within confined spaces and at heights

Plant Operators

Operating excavators, dozers, and other civil machinery Bulk earthworks and general civil works Working around underground services Following project specifications and site requirements Conducting pre-start checks and basic maintenance Assisting with general site duties when required

What you'll need to succeed

Civil Labourers

White Card (Essential) Confined Space Ticket (Essential) Working at Heights Ticket (Essential) Previous civil construction experience highly regarded Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport

Plant Operators

Demonstrated experience operating civil plant and equipment Relevant operating tickets and licences GPS machine control experience highly regarded but not essential MR Licence highly regarded Strong commitment to workplace safety Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
