WANTED CHICKEN CATCHERS

MQ Griffith is a company that is totally dedicated to servicing the poultry industry in Australia. We are involved in all aspects of transporting live birds from the breeder farms to the processing plant, transporting everything from eggs to grown birds.

MQ Griffith are currently seeking Chicken Catchers to join our team of skilled and hard-working individuals based out of Tamworth NSW

To be successful you must:

Must be physically fit, able to bend to pick up the Chickens Have own transport to be able to start from our Tamworth Depot in NSW Willing to work, Day or Night Shifts Must hold WORKING RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA Demonstrated experience within a similar capacity and role Poultry industry knowledge an advantage Desirable: HR or MR Licence, Forklift Licence

Your responsibilities will include:

Manually pick up chickens Load chickens into modules Support crew members during the catching process Ensure draw counts are as per requirements advised by Catching Crew Leader Follow all safe work procedures Communication with crew members, supervisors and other relevant site personnel Compliance with all relevant animal welfare legislation, bio-security and other responsibilities Completion of required paperwork What we can offer you:
