This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the finance function, working closely with leadership, and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a busy construction environment.

Your new role

As the Bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth running of the business's accounts. Working within a supportive team environment, you will be responsible for:

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations and daily financial transactions
• Processing invoices and supplier payments
• Payroll processing and associated reporting
• Preparation of BAS and financial reports
• Maintaining accurate records within MYOB
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers and external accountants

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts role
• Strong working knowledge of MYOB
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Previous construction industry experience will be highly regarded
