Job description

$83+ per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading and 30% shift loading) + overtime
Growing Defence Organisation
9 Day Fortnight

Duties

Working as part of a team
MIG and Flux Core welding on heavy structural steel
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications
Adhering to strong safety procedures and requirements

Skills & Experience

Australian Work Rights
National Police Clearance within 3 months - or willing to obtain one
Ability to pass Weld Test assessment
Ability to read drawings
Experience in Fabrication & MIG and Flux Core Welding
Strong commitment to a safe work environment

As a Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearances including NSSIC and ITAR.
