Description: 20 horticultural workers are required in October for six months across properties in Hahndorf, South Australia. Workers must be available to work 5-7 days per week. Hours of work will vary daily, depending on harvest requirements, averaging 30 hours per week. This work is outdoors in various weather conditions and involves picking, planting, packing and general crop management of berries. Wages will be under the Horticultural Award 2020 primarily paid at piece rates (per unit), however some tasks will be paid at the casual hourly award rate ($32.18 per hour). Workers must be available for the full duration. You will need reliable transport. It is essential that you are able to work flexible hours as rosters will vary. You must be reliable and committed and have the ability to work quickly and accurately. Due to the high physical demands of these positions, workers will need to be physically fit and self-motivated. You may be on your feet for extended periods and required to perform repetitive manual tasks.
