Bartender / Marketing & Socials Assistant at Bartronica Melbourne CBD. Bartronica is Melbourne's oldest arcade bar on Flinders Lane. Arcade cabinets, pinball, Mario Kart booths and a full bar slinging gaming-themed cocktails. We're underground, loud, and growing fast! We're hiring, and we want people who can do more than pour a good drink. If you're wanting to get some real hands on experience assisting in helping market a vibrant bar, this might be just the job you're looking for. This role suits someone studying digital marketing, social media, or communications who wants real experience in a live venue. Building content, learning what actually performs on socials, and seeing a growing hospitality brand from the inside. You'll bartend most shifts so experience is needed. You must be fairly comfortable with cocktails and high speed of service for our busier shifts and events. We're looking for someone to jump in front of and behind the camera from time to time for fun marketing content, help with creating graphic art and fun posters, and assist as we expand our venue's marketing efforts. No polished portfolio required, just feeling comfortable on camera, interested in improving your marketing skills, and up for a laugh. What we need from you:
• Bartending experience, 6+ months (essential)
• Comfortable behind a busy bar and confident chatting with customers
• Happy to be on camera and behind the camera for social content from time to time
• A team player who gets stuck in wherever it's needed
• Minimum Saturday night availability — our busiest night
• Living in or near the CBD is a big plus as we sometimes finish between 1-2 am. (No major late finishes!) Walk-in interviews: Friday 18th September between 2.30pm–3.30pm at 335 Flinders Lane.
