About the Role
As an APS3 Participant Support Officer, you will:
Deliver high-quality customer service and support to participants, families and stakeholders through a range of enquiries and interactions. Manage multiple tasks and workflows, including case management and administrative activities. Identify participant needs, investigate issues and contribute to practical solutions and positive outcomes. Build and maintain effective relationships with participants, colleagues and external stakeholders. Prepare and maintain accurate records, documentation and correspondence in line with policy and procedures. Support front-of-house operations, including responding to walk-in enquiries and directing participants to appropriate services. Work with people from diverse backgrounds, including people with disability and First Nations communities. Adapt to changing priorities and participant needs in a fast-paced environment. Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture while maintaining a positive attitude towards people with disability.
About You
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Understanding of NDIA and the disability sector Knowledge of confidentiality, privacy and handling sensitive information. Ability to understand and support the participant journey. Proficient in Microsoft Office
You'll be a strong communicator with a customer-focused mindset, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Requirements
Australian Citizenship is essential. Ability to obtain and maintain required Federal Government clearances.
