Our growing client is seeking an experienced Allocator to join their fast-paced operations team. In this pivotal role, you will manage daily fleet scheduling, optimize transport routes, and ensure their drivers and vehicles operate at peak efficiency while maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Scheduling & Dispatch: Daily planning and allocation of drivers, sub-contractors, and fleet vehicles to meet delivery timelines.
Route Optimization: Coordinate optimal routing to minimize transit times, lower fuel consumption, and maximize load efficiency.
Driver Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, managing shift assignments, fatigue compliance, and real-time operational issues.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure full adherence to transport regulations, Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) / Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and site safety standards.
Customer Communication: Liaise with clients regarding delivery statuses, potential delays, and schedule adjustments.
Problem Resolution: React swiftly to breakdown events, traffic delays, or sudden load changes to maintain service continuity.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven Transport Experience: Minimum 2-3+ years as a Transport Allocator, Dispatcher, or Fleet Controller (essential).
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of transport regulations, driver fatigue management, and CoR guidelines.
Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, and route planning software.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle high-pressure situations, make quick operational decisions, and re-allocate resources on the fly.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage driver interactions and client inquiries.
