Your new role

As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of operations across a large-scale grounds maintenance contract. You will oversee teams of 10–30 staff, with Team Leaders reporting into you, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role, where you’ll balance time between being in the field and managing operational requirements. Your responsibilities will include coordinating maintenance programs, supervising and supporting staff performance, managing client expectations, and ensuring service delivery aligns with contract requirements. You will also contribute to workforce planning, reporting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture (essential)

  • Demonstrated experience in horticulture, landscaping, or construction environments

  • Proven leadership experience, either as a Supervisor or an experienced Team Leader ready to step up

  • Ability to manage and motivate large teams across multiple workstreams

  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • White Card, Asbestos Awareness, and Silica tickets

  • Chemical Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the flexibility to be both on the tools and in a supervisory capacity
