Your new company
You will be supporting projects aligned with Transport for NSW, contributing to the maintenance and delivery of critical road infrastructure across a large regional network. This environment offers exposure to government transport standards and processes, working alongside experienced teams to maintain and improve key state road assets.

Your new role
As Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of road maintenance and asphalt works across an extensive highway network. Working from a regional office, you will play a key role in coordinating work, supporting project delivery and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of road and civil maintenance projects
  • Preparing and managing project documentation, including traffic management plans
  • Supporting financial tracking and reporting using Excel
  • Coordinating with supervisors and site teams to ensure smooth delivery of works
  • Participating in toolbox talks and supporting team communication across a workforce of approximately 10 personnel
  • Contributing to WHS compliance and documentation alongside designated safety staff
  • Occasional site visits, including periodic overnight stays as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Previous experience in a Project Engineer role within civil or road infrastructure
  • Exposure to road maintenance, asphalt or transport projects
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with site teams
  • Solid capability in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
  • Experience supporting project financials and reporting
  • A proactive approach to teamwork and coordination
  • Ideally, prior exposure to government road authority projects
